Is that the one where he is the orchestra conductor? That *was* good, only the conducting he does is totally laughable. It was as if the L.A. Symphonic needs a conductor to count out 4 beats in every measure.

I had a jazz trio perform at my library on Saturday. The leader/pianist kept adjusting her mic stand while she talked, introducing the songs. At one point she said, "Why do I keep moving my mic stand?" and I thought of you, Wendy!

erik (vt):

- jumped onto the Replacements hayride with ‘Hootenanny’ (granted not at the edgy start), by the time the terrific ‘Let it Be’ album arrived & got digested = a full blown covert! ‘Tim’ still my fave. Yet curiously, when I revisit the ‘Let it Be’ album now, I find the production choices very curious. Especially the drum sound choices. I think Hüsker Dü was dabbling with similar “audio fx”, (love em!). You’ve got me going back to the stacks for some re-examining homework. Love it.
